This sturdy steel extension post raises the head of the Orion Atlas EQ-G, Atlas Pro AZ/EQ-G, or Atlas II EQ-G telescope mount by 8.4", allowing more convenient eyepiece height when observing with refractor telescopes. The additional height also helps prevent the optical tube from hitting the tripod when aimed high while you're observing or during an astrophotography session. The Mount Extension has an outside diameter of 102mm (4"). Includes connecting plate and hardware.
